Volunteer at HSSM:

HSSM often has projects appropriate for or in need of groups to complete. Many organizations encourage employee volunteerism and HSSM can always find something for a group to do! Please contact Daniel, HSSM’s Interim Volunteer Coordinator, at 228-863-3354 ext. 3816 to schedule your organization’s volunteer day!

Payroll Deduction:

Many employers sponsor workplace giving campaigns through which employees can elect to make payroll deductions to selected charities. Encourage your employer to participate in such a campaign and ask for the Humane Society of South Mississippi to be your charitable donation of choice. What an easy way to help homeless pets find the care and compassion they need!

Combined Federal Campaign:

Employees of the United States Federal government (including the military, Veterans Affairs organizations, the Internal Revenue Service, etc.) have the opportunity to give to HSSM through payroll deduction via the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). To give to HSSM via the CFC, please designate that your contribution go to HSSM (CFC # 62847).

Matching Gifts:

Be sure to check if your company matches gifts, enabling your donation to have greater impact. Many local companies, national organizations, and corporate foundations will match their employee’s gifts to nonprofit organizations. A corporate matching gift is an easy way to double your charitable contribution to HSSM.

If your company offers a matching gift program:

  1. Request your company’s matching gift form from your Human Resources Department.

  2. Complete the matching gift form and send it in along with your donation to HSSM. We’ll do the rest!

  3. You can also make your donation online and send your completed form along with a copy of your online donation receipt to HSSM.
