I Lost a Pet

If you live in Harrison County, HSSM is a great place to begin looking for your lost pet. HSSM works with the Animal Control Agencies from all Harrison County jurisdications. HSSM accepts stray animals from these jurisdictions–so if you think your pet may have ended up in one of these areas, make sure you check here frequently for your pet.

It is important to note that Mississippi law states that an animal be held for 5 days and then it can be adopted out. Please make sure that you check at least every couple of days for your pet!

Click here for HSSM’s online Lost Pets Listing to find descriptions and pictures of all the pets recently brought to HSSM as strays.

HSSM is the largest animal welfare organization in the state of Mississippi and is a great place to start looking for your lost pet.
