Lonely Hearts

Look for these Lonely Hearts signs when you visit HSSM!

HSSM’s Neediest Residents

A pet becomes a Lonely Heart when he/she has been at HSSM looking for a home for more than 30 days.

Oftentimes these are adult animals who are the epitome of “Plug ‘N Play Pets” They may already be house-trained, know tricks and have known the love of a family and through unfortunate circumstances have come to find themselves in the shelter, and even worse, have been in the shelter too long!

Please take a look at HSSM’s Lonely Hearts…your perfect match could be one of HSSM’s neediest but most desirable residents!

See one you like? Make sure you note your favorite’s name and animal ID number so that HSSM staff and volunteers can easily find him/her when you come in!
